Wow... what a wonderfully exciting show Sister Act was!
In June 2015, the cast of Sister Act took to the stage and amazed sold out audiences with dancing, singing (and even rapping!) nuns!
The bright, vibrant costumes and extravagant staging complemented the cast and band, and helped star Deloris Van Cartier (played by Emma Swales) do her thing and wow the crowd with her incredible singing.
The musical, based on the film Sister Act, sees Deloris witness a murder by her boyfriend and is sent to a convent as part of a witness protection programme. Here she teaches her fellow nuns to sing to be able to raise money to save their convent, which is being forced shut.
The musical includes fantastic chorus numbers, heartwarming solos and hilarious rapping!
